Fayetteville's Drake Field airport is about 3 miles southeast of downtown.
A regional airport (XNA)
has been recently completed in Benton County, about 20 miles northwest of
Fayetteville, 15 miles northwest of Springdale and 12 miles southwest of
Rogers. The airlines that used to serve Drake Field have moved to the new
airport.
When
we last checked,
the Fayetteville airport was used by general aviation and some cargo
flights. There is no longer any commercial passenger service to this
